New Thrive @ UW–Madison Course Available Fall 2017!

Thrive @ UW–Madison is growing! Thrive @ UW–Madison is a series of courses available to all campus employees at no cost to support the development of the knowledge, skills, and, abilities to contribute to healthy, inclusive, and, engaging work environments. There is no required sequence or pre-requisite for any class in the Thrive series.

A new course, “Communicating Effectively for Authentic Communication”, is now available and open for registration. This course is designed to support participants in developing communication skills that encourage positive, collaborative work relationships. The emphasis is on creating dialogue and using active listening to overcome potential communication challenges. This course joins Thrive courses, “Building and Managing Work Relationships,” “Creating Inclusive Work Environments,” and “Thriving in a Time of Change” as an ongoing, regular course offering.

The Thrive series will continue to add additional classes in the near future. Be sure to watch for a new course focused on self-awareness in the workplace to launch in late fall 2017.
