Key Points

  • Telecommuting is not available for all employees.
  • While the Telecommuting Policy remains in effect, a supervisor may now initiate a telecommuting agreement by sending an email to an employee’s UW–Madison email account. That email will outline the parameters of the telecommuting agreement. This process will not require the additional steps of approval through a series of administrators and signed agreements.
  • A sample telecommuting agreement can be found in the Addendum to Telecommuting Policy (Appendix A).
