The Recruitment Initiative for Student Employees (RISE) is a diversity pipeline program designed to further develop and enhance the University of Wisconsin–Madison’s initiative to address campus diversity recruitment. The purpose of RISE is to create an academic experience and institutional connection for students of color, low-income students, and first-generation college graduates through rewarding employment opportunities and professional development assistance. The program is designed so that members gain access to RISE partnerships for the following opportunities:
- Student Hourly Employment
- UW–Madison Internships
- UW–Madison Full-Time Employment
- Connection to UW Hiring Departments
