RISE is committed to ensuring that you are connected to employment opportunities that will allow you to build your résumé and gain core skills. RISE offers a structured training curriculum to help enhance your skills, secure meaningful employment, and perform at a high level during your assignment. The curriculum includes a combination of RISE-sponsored events and campuswide workshops. Curriculum components include:

Send a copy of your résumé and cover letter to rise@ohr.wisc.edu. Having a résumé and cover letter on file with RISE will increase your chances of securing employment.
Step 3
Meet with a RISE Coordinator at least once per semester. RISE Coordinators host weekly office hours for members to come in and discuss a variety of topics, including academic and career interests, résumé and cover letter feedback, interview preparation, campus resources, and more.
Step 4
Attend RISE-sponsored events. The RISE program conducts a mandatory all-member event once per semester along with other networking and professional development opportunities. Email the RISE Coordinators if you have questions about upcoming events.
