RISE Coordinator

The Office of Human Resources at the UW-Madison is seeking one leadership-oriented student with a passion for diversity and student empowerment to join the Recruitment Initiative for Student Employment (RISE).

The RISE Coordinators drive the overall management of the program’s daily operations and implementation of strategic goals. This involves overseeing program content and initiatives including:

· Building, collaborating, and maintaining relationships with UW diversity programs, UW career services departments and UW-Madison employers

· Connecting RISE members to professional development resources across campus

· Overseeing recruitment of new members

· Connecting RISE members to campus student jobs and internships

· Assisting students with writing resumes, cover letters, and other job application materials

· Planning, implementing, and assessing workshops and events that help students develop professional and life skills

· Serving as a resource to RISE students to help create a positive Wisconsin experience

· Writing content and updating information on the RISE program website and other printed marketing materials

· Developing and implementing data tracking mechanisms to measure key program outcomes
