About the Presenter
April McHugh, LPC, NCC, GCDF
Director of the Employee Career Counseling Program, Learning and Talent Development
April McHugh currently serves as the Director of the Employee Career Counseling Program, part of Learning and Talent Development. She has been working at UW-Madison for over 15 years and with adults in career transition for over 25 providing career, personal, educational, and formerly mental health counseling. She serves UW-Madison employees through one-on-one career counseling appointments, workshops, and presentations. April holds her Master’s in Guidance and Counseling, is licensed as a professional counselor (LPC), nationally certified as a counselor (NCC), and certified as a Global Career Development Facilitator (GCDF).
