Connect to the Conference
The Webex Event App provides conference attendees and presenters with up-to-date event information. The app is accessible from a mobile device, desktop, or tablet.
As part of the Events app, you will gain access to:
- Conference agenda with customized scheduling
- Speaker bios
- Downloadable presentations and handouts
- Networking technology
- Venue logistics
- Direct attendee messaging
Access the Event App
Watch for Your Invitation E-mail
All participants will be added to the Webex Event App and sent an e-mail invitation no later than November 5 to set up an account. Once logged in to the app, you can personalize your schedule, create your profile, network with other attendees, and more.

Mobile Device Access:
- Download event app. To access, search “UW-Madison Events” in the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
- Open the app and enter the email address you used to register for the event. Your email must match the email used to register for the event.
- If you entered an email, create a password and click Sign Up.
- Fill in your networking profile and click Continue. Your profile information will help you connect with other people during the event.
- Browse for “2025 HR@UW Conference” or use the search bar to find it. Once you’ve found it, tap on it. You’re in! Feel free to start exploring.
Desktop / Web App Access:
- No download required – access the desktop version through the link provided.
- Open the website and enter the email address you used to register for the event.
- Create a password and click Sign Up.
- Fill in your networking profile and click Continue. Your profile information will help you connect with other people during the event.
