Grow Skills and Shape Culture
Are you wondering how you can contribute to building a stronger, healthier workplace culture? Looking to grow your skills in fostering belonging and inclusion at work?
Course Description
Workplace Belonging is a six-session cohort program designed as a learning path for UW-Madison staff and faculty who want to build confidence and skills in creating connection and influencing a positive workplace culture. Together, we will explore practical strategies, share ideas and perspectives, and identify meaningful action steps that can make a real impact in fostering a healthy, engaging workplace where everyone feels they belong.
What’s a Learning Path?
A learning path is a structured series of courses and activities designed to help you learn and build skills through a guided progression. Unlike a standalone course, this approach offers a sequence of connected topics and focus. Topics will include understanding experiences and identities, values clarification, building trusting work relationships, strengthening emotional intelligence, and co-creating team culture.
In this learning path you will be a part of a cohort and learn alongside peer colleagues who are committed to creating a workplace where everyone feels valued and supported. Each session is thoughtfully designed to foster shared learning and exploration, helping uncover common barriers to a healthy work environment and identifying effective, actionable strategies to strengthen trust, communication, collaboration and connection. Along the way, you will practice skills that can build stronger relationships, enhance teamwork, and drive shared success.
