Making Space for Growth: Career Conversations That Support You

Program Description

Goal setting is just the beginning of your development journey at UW–Madison. This interactive virtual session helps employees translate development goals into ongoing career conversations that build clarity, engagement, and momentum throughout the year. Participants will explore UW–Madison’s Career Conversations framework, learn how to initiate development‑focused discussions with their manager, and identify campus resources such as mentoring, career counseling, and professional development to support their growth. Designed to follow the annual goal‑setting process, this session empowers employees to connect their work, strengths, and aspirations in practical and sustainable ways.
