Course Description
Emotional intelligence (EQ) is more than a relational skill -it’s a strategic advantage in today’s fast-paced, collaborative work environments. The ability to recognize, understand, and manage emotions, both our own and those of others, is essential for building trust, enhancing communication, and fostering resilient, high-performing teams.
This workshop explores two key elements of emotional intelligence: Self-Expression and Interpersonal Relationships, with a focus on how leading with empathy can strengthen connection, trust, and belonging in the workplace. Through practical tools and reflective strategies, participants will learn how empathy fuels emotional agility and supports inclusive, emotionally intelligent leadership.
Course Learning Objectives:
- Explore the four modes of empathy – self, emotional, cognitive, and compassionate-and their role in fostering connection and emotional agility.
- Understand how empathy can be developed and practiced to build trust, psychological safety, and a healthy workplace culture.
- Practice deep, generative listening as a core skill for being fully present, responsive, and supportive in professional relationships.
