Fully Prepared to Lead: Project Management for Leaders

Everyone has completed a project at some point in their life. This could have been planning a vacation or figuring out how to implement a new software system across multiple units. Projects come in all shapes and sizes. While projects are commonplace, the skills of a project manager are not. This course focuses on providing a broad overview of the phases of project management that people who are not professional project managers can use to make their work on projects more effective.

By completing this module, participants will:

  • Identify the 6 phases of project management
  • Practice clarifying sponsor expectations
  • Apply the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) to tasks
