Learn about the New Job Descriptions
As part of the TTC Project, UW–Madison will be moving from the task-oriented job descriptions we currently use to new, responsibility-oriented job descriptions. This will help make the updated job descriptions much shorter and more informative for both prospective and current employees.
We’ve prepared a new online training tool, the Task vs. Responsibility Tool, which can help you understand the new approach to job descriptions. A paper-based version of the training will be offered soon in Spanish, Hmong, Tibetan, Chinese, and Nepali.
You may wish to explore this new tool prior to attending a TTC Forum in July. Additional tools are being prepared to help you understand some of the changes to come.
