Job Posting Revisions Guide

The documents in the HR Guides are related to Workday business processes. These materials will be reviewed and updated through Workday go-live in July 2025.

Best Practice 

Hiring managers and primary recruiters must thoroughly review each job requisition before posting. Making changes to a job posting should happen infrequently. To honor Recruitment, Assessment, and Selection (RAS) policy and support a positive candidate experience, you may only make minor changes to a job posting. Significant changes may require you to cancel and start over with a new requisition.  

In Workday 

When you edit a job requisition, the business process will route it to approvals relevant to the edit. Once approved, Workday will prompt you to unpost and then repost the job. If the edit doesn’t affect the job posting, you can skip this step.

Consult the table for Talent Acquisition’s recommended action for common changes, developed to adhere to RAS Policy. Follow steps from ATP's Edit Job Requisition help document after determining the appropriate action from the table below.
