Leave of Absence Cutover Dates

This document provides  leave of absence related cutover dates in preparation for Workday go-live. Please keep in mind, work is still being done and information may change. 

Cutover Dates

Event/Process Responsible Party

Now-Sat. June 14, 2025 

  • Last day for non-essential HR transactions entry into HRS. 
  • Enter any new, changing, or ending leave of absence with effective dates up to June 28, 2025 into HRS by June 14, 2025. 
  • Review existing leave of absence employee data and make updates as needed.
SCDs

Sun. June 15, 2025-Sat. June 28, 2025

  • Limited critical HR transactions are entered into HRS.
  • Immediately enter leave of absence with effective dates up to June 28 in HRS. 
SCDs

Sat. June 28, 2025

  • Last day of leave of absence and time off entry into HRS.
  • Last day employees can modify their own timesheets for 06B (June 15-June 28).
SCDs

Sun. June 29, 2025

  • First payroll period in Workday begins 07A (June 29 - July 6). 
  • Leave of absence and time off entry effective June 28 and after will not convert to Workday.
SCDs

Sun. June 29, 2025-Sun. July 6, 2025

  • Employees can enter time worked only into HRS.
  • SCDs will need to track leave of absence and time off used during a leave of absence for future entry in Workday.
Employee/SCDs

Mon. July 7, 2025

Workday opens for all employees 

  • All leave of absence and time off with effective dates June 29 need to be entered and approved manually in Workday. 
SCDs

Thurs. July 17, 2025

First payroll run 07A in Workday.
