In-Person services temporarily relocate to Smith Hall

The following in-person services have been relocated to Smith Hall located at 35 North Park Street. The parking ramp at 21 N. Park Street remains open.  Smith Hall is open from 7:45 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. see below for details on hours for each service. Staff will be onsite to answer employee questions.  

  • Benefits Services Office of Human Resources (OHR)

    9 a.m. to 3 p.m. services remain unchanged.

  • Cultural Linguistic Services (CLS)

    If you would like to request translation or interpretation services, please contact Cultural Linguistic Services

  • Link UW

    Walk-in services

    Walk-in HR services (including benefits, time and absence, and payroll services) are available Tuesday and Thursday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

    Finance services

    Finance services will only be offered virtually during this time. Email your request to help.linkuw@wisc.edu, please use your wisc.edu email. Your email will create a service ticket. Visit linkuw.wisc.edu/request for more information.

  • New Employee Welcome Center

    In-person consultation and walk-in appointments are available for employment agreements (I-9) from Monday to Thursday from 7:45 a.m. to 12 p.m. in Smith Hall-Laines Lounge at 35 N. Park Street.

    The Open House on Wed. July 15 will be rescheduled. More information will be shared as it becomes available.  

  • Professional Development

    Any courses offered at 21 N. Park Street will be rescheduled. Participants can expect to receive direct communications about these changes. The Woman and Leadership Symposium at Memorial Union will continue as planned on July 14.  Registration closes July 3.

    In-person Plain Language trainings scheduled at 21 N. Park St for July and Aug. will be moved to virtual sessions.   

  • Virtual services: 

    All other Office of Human Resources services will continue to provide support virtually.

    Administrative Services Unit (ASU)

    ASU will continue to provide HR services email asu.hr@ohr.wisc.edu or call 608-262-5322 for assistance.

    Employee Assistance Office (EAO)

    EAO will continue to offer virtual and in-person counseling meetings as their office is located in the WARF Building, 11th floor room 1109 on 610 Walnut Street.
