Dear HR Colleagues:
We are thrilled to be able to offer our first HR@UW Conference on December 5th! As highlighted elsewhere, this inaugural effort features speakers with great expertise to share with us, both from national perspectives and with specific understandings of what we need at UW–Madison. The Conference is a collaborative effort of the HR-CoP staff and Learning and Talent Development, which brings its knowledge of conference management in service of this effort. As well, colleagues from across OHR are involved in key roles…and OHR is providing significant financial support for this effort to keep conference fees at only $25 per person.
The entire effort illustrates some of the opportunities we now have through our new office to convene important learning opportunities for all campus HR professionals in a variety of areas. We hope you plan to attend – and please share this information and encourage all colleagues who “touch HR,” both in formal and informal roles, to come, as well!
