TTC Project Offers Live Virtual Training to Support Managers

To help managers and supervisors engage employees in conversations about updated titles and position descriptions, the Title and Total Compensation (TTC) Project is offering live virtual manager trainings.

In this interactive training, supervisors and managers will prepare for conversations, explore ways to engage employees in the process, and learn from other managers. Skills gained in this session may also help managers have effective conversations in the workplace.

During this session managers/supervisors will practice:
• Customizing communication to meet individual needs
• Listening empathically to understand employee concerns
• Exploring ways to empower employees during a time of change

Training Dates:

All sessions are offered via WebEx

  • May 19, 1:30-3 p.m.
  • June 3, 9-10:30 a.m.
  • June 16, 1-2:30 p.m.
  • June 30, 1-2:30 p.m.
  • July 8, 9-10:30 a.m.

Before attending this session, please complete the Title & Total Compensation Project – Online Manager/Supervisor Training which provides background information on the TTC Project and your role as a manager/supervisor in the project’s implementation.

Specific details regarding the conversations will vary among schools, colleges, or divisions as each area determines when the discussions are complete. However, all conversations must be complete by September 10, 2021. Managers and supervisors may wish to check with their local human resources representative if they have questions about the conversations.
