Dear HR and Payroll Colleagues:
As you may notice from other articles in this Newsletter, the HR-Communities of Practice Office is an exciting place to be these days:
- We are concluding our initial Pilot Learning Cohort and gearing up to offer several new cohorts in the fall,
- Our HR Technical Knowledge classes have greatly expanded and diversified, with new projects on the way, and
- Three new HR-related communities of practice have launched this summer (Workforce Relations, Onboarding, and Recruitment).
In addition, we are now fully engaged in recruiting a new Director who will (hopefully) take leadership of this exciting office in October. Most importantly, it feels good that we are earning your interest and trust to participate in these important learning opportunities, as well as to send your staffs to our programs. Please continue to do so — challenge us with new ideas and look for ways to become involved as mentors, project team members, and as learners yourselves.
All in all, good things to consider as we move into the final days of summer.
