On Monday, February 24, 2020, enhancements were made to the SH/SV reference check process in JEMS. A “SH/SV” contact type is now available on the Contact tab in JEMS PVL and JEMS Hire. If a SH/SV contact is entered, the SH/SV contact name, email address and telephone number will populate in the SH/SV email invitations sent to Final Candidate(s) and Reference(s). If entered, the SH/SV contact is the only individual who will receive the auto-emails from JEMS regarding the status of the SH/SV reference check.
If a SH/SV contact isn’t entered, the Primary contact information will populate in the SH/SV email invitations sent to the Final Candidate(s) and Reference(s). The auto-emails from JEMS regarding the status of the SH/SV reference check will continue to be sent to JEMS Department or Division Users (as outlined in the ‘SH/SV Reference Check Process in JEMS’ help document).
Additionally, the SH/SV contact lookup has been added to the automated SH/SV Reference Check in JEMS. You are able to search by UDDS, Department/Division, or Reference Name, then click ‘Add Reference’ to populate the name and email address on the ‘Email Request’ tab.
