Enrolling in LinkedIn Learning Courses

You can enroll in LinkedIn Learning courses from the Workday course catalog. Follow the same steps that you would for enrolling in a self-paced course. Once enrolled, you will be directed to LinkedIn to view the content. 

You may be asked to login to LinkedIn Learning at this time. Important: if you are given options for which “instance” of LinkedIn Learning you wish to use, select the “Universities of Wisconsin” instance to ensure that your training is recorded in Workday.

What if you completed courses in LinkedIn prior to the integration with Workday?

UW-Madison employees used a different instance of LinkedIn Learning prior to Workday go-live. 

If your LinkedIn profile was connected in this previous instance of LinkedIn Learning, you can connect it to the new instance that is integrated with Workday. Follow the steps in this resource to connect your profile and bring your LinkedIn Learning History into this new account. LinkedIn Learning Course History.

Workday will track LinkedIn courses that are enrolled in and launched from Workday, but please note that historical courses from previous instances of LinkedIn Learning will not automatically appear on your Workday Learning transcript.
