What changed for Time Clocks

Beginning in Summer 2025, select employees began using a new time clock system called Dormakaba to track their hours worked. The Dormakaba time clocks are used by select University Staff and student employees who work in UW Athletics, University Housing, Facilities Planning and Management, and Recreation and Wellbeing.

  • Select University Staff and student employees use a Dormakaba time clock to clock in and out
  • How employees record their time
  • Where employees view time clock history
  • Time clocks are available in multiple languages (English, Spanish, Hmong, Tibetan, Chinese, Nepali)

What stayed the same

  • Employee pay
  • Benefits
  • Attendance, breaks, and overtime policies
  • Work schedules
