Workday training

Online Workday training for all Universities of Wisconsin started May 6. Each school, college, or division may have additional trainings or engagements. For questions contact your local HR professional.

Career profile

In Workday, the Career Profile is a section where employees can update and manage information about their career, skills, and experience. Typically, employees will initiate this task, but in some cases the manager will initiate on behalf of the employee. The Career Profile may be accessed by viewing the Job Profile in Workday and selecting the Career button.

Onboarding

A positive onboarding experience for new employees strengthens their commitment to the university and reinforces the new employee’s choice to work with you as a manager. Consult with your HR office to learn more about your unit’s onboarding program and your specific role.

Recruitment

Recruitment resources will be available in spring 2025.

Submit or update Remote Work Agreement (Flexible Work Arrangement) through Workday. Links to resources to support you in working remotely including UW–Madison’s policy are also available.
