Overview

To support this philosophy, we have established Salary Administration Guidelines (SAG) to help schools, colleges, and divisions implement consistent, equitable, and market-informed compensation practices. Detailed information about job titles, salaries, and position descriptions can be found at our Title and Standard Job Description (SJD) Library.

In some cases, a position's title may need to change based on the role's responsibilities and organizational needs. A title change may or may not result in a salary adjustment.

For employees receiving a base adjustment who also have a Temporary Work Assignment (TWA), consider whether an adjustment to the TWA is appropriate. If a change is warranted, refer to the Temporary Change in Responsibilities HR Guide for processing instructions.

Processing in Workday

The table below outlines which Workday process to use for each adjustment type. For required attachments in the Workday business process, please reference the Salary Adjustment Justification Matrix for required evidence for need and supporting documentation.
