Recruitment
- Oversee UW–Madison recruitment, assessment, and selection policies and procedures
- Market to diverse job seekers through outreach events and community partnerships
- Develop, consult, and educate on recruitment best practices, tools, and resources
- Maintain and enhance the applicant tracking system, the Talent Recruitment and Engagement Management System (TREMS)
Onboarding
- Support new employee onboarding with resources, education, and consultation
- Maintain and enhance onboarding technology
- Welcome new employees to campus in an engaging orientation to UW–Madison
Engagement, Inclusion, and Diversity
- Consult on employee engagement, inclusion, and diversity (EID) strategies and tools
- Facilitate the EID survey, provide data, and assess and evaluate EID practices
- Develop and review EID priorities in partnership with divisions
Performance Management
- Consult, support, and collaborate on performance management programs
- Maintain and enhance the Performance Management and Development Program (PMDP)
- Educate and provide resources for performance management conversations
