Language Assistance

For assistance with translation or interpretation, please contact Cultural Linguistic Services.

Workday Training

Workday training will be available to UW–Madison employees beginning in May. Online training begins May 6. In-person training begins July 21 for employees who do not use a computer in their work.

Career Profile

In Workday, the Career Profile is a section where employees can update and manage information about their career, skills, and experience. The Career Profile may be accessed by viewing the Job Profile in Workday and selecting the Career button.

Learn how to manage settings in Workday such as notifications, tasks, shortcuts, and more. Information includes how to navigate to Workday from MyUW.

Remote Work Agreement

Submit or update Remote Work Agreement (Flexible Work Arrangement) through Workday. Links to resources to support you in working remotely including UW–Madison’s policy are also available.

Remote Work Agreement are known as Flexible Work Arrangements in Workday.

Reporting

Time Clocks

Time clocks allow select employees to log their working hours by clocking in and out. The following four divisions will use time clocks: UW Athletics, Facilities Planning & Management, University Housing, Recreation and Wellbeing. Below are HR resources specific to these areas.

Workday Learning

Starting in July 2025, employees will be able to access and track a limited number of courses in the Workday Learning module. All other employee training at UW–Madison will transition to Workday in phases after go-live. The Office of Human Resources (OHR) Professional Development website will also remain available and employees will continue to receive campus employee communications with instructions to sign up for courses and events.
