Use of UW-Madison email addresses by employees must comply with the University of Wisconsin Acceptable Use of Information Technology Resources policy.
Note: Only business email addresses are considered public data and made available to requesters. Employee home/personal contact information is considered confidential except for specific uses. If you need UW employee home/personal contact information, please email the OHR HRIS team to determine if that will be possible for your use case.
Please use the appropriate resource below to determine the appropriate method for you.
UW HR employees with access to the University of Wisconsin Business Intelligence (UWBI/OBIEE) system may export lists of business email addresses using the Business Directory report (UWBI > Human Resources and Finance > Workforce Dashboards > Directories > Business Directory tab).

If you need access to UWBI, refer to the HRS Access Guide.

The UW-Madison List Library is a collection of employee email lists maintained by DoIT available to university leadership and central offices. Authorized individuals may use the lists to send emails to employees that are directly related to work or employment matters. There is no cost for using the List Library.
