Job Summary:
Assists in strategic planning, program direction, budget oversight, and staff supervision within a unit. Develops internal and external partnerships in support of and to raise awareness of program initiatives.

Job Responsibilities:
- Assists in the development of unit-focused strategic planning initiatives and unit objectives to ensure appropriate use of financial, administrative, and staffing resources and alignment with the strategic plan
- Exercises supervisory authority, including hiring, transferring, suspending, promoting, managing conduct and performance, discharging, assigning, rewarding, disciplining, and/or approving hours worked of at least 2.0 full-time equivalent (FTE) employees
- Serves as a unit liaison, collaborating with internal and external stakeholder groups to foster cross-unit partnership efforts regarding student affairs initiatives
- Manages and oversees the budget
