Job Summary:
Develops and executes the strategic direction for externally focused programs and initiatives, which commonly include donor events, communications, and stewardship, in coordination with other development executives.

Job Responsibilities:
- Leads and oversees the school/college/division strategy related to partnership, marketing, and communications that may include functions such as public relations, alumni relations, and government affairs
- Sets goals for key development programs in concert with the other university development programs
- Develops and implements the external relations initiatives of the school/college/division within the context of the campaign and beyond
- Directs and oversees financial management of a unit
- Exercises supervisory authority, including hiring, transferring, suspending, promoting, managing conduct and performance, discharging, assigning, rewarding, disciplining, and/or approving hours worked of at least 2.0 full-time equivalent (FTE) employees
- Serves as the primary contact and liaison with internal and external stakeholders
