Job Summary:
Develops policies and strategies for facility use, analyzes utilization and standards, assesses program requirements, and develops alternative solutions for allocation, assignment, and relocation to support the academic and research missions of the institution. Provides direction and manages staff for all projects and programs within an individual unit and allocates resources to meet space management goals.

Job Responsibilities:
- Develops and directs planning of one or multiple facilities or projects to foster innovative solutions meeting the needs of an academic or research institution
- Assists with the development, execution, and utilization of strategic planning analysis to determine long term institutional needs and develop sustainable solutions
- Assists with the development of operating policies and procedures to comply with regulations, best practices, and institutional objectives
- Assists in developing and auditing multiple project or program budgets
- Exercises supervisory authority, including hiring, transferring, suspending, promoting, managing conduct and performance, discharging, assigning, rewarding, disciplining, and/or approving hours worked of at least 2.0 full-time equivalent (FTE) employees
