Job Summary:
Shares in the overall responsibility for managing one or more key aspects of the Research Park functional areas, such as real estate development, leasing, property management and operations, or community/economic development. This includes managing and exercising supervisory authority over Research Park staff but may also primarily consist of contracting with and supervising the work of outside vendors on behalf of the organization. The Research Park Assistant Administrator is expected to take responsibility in their functional area of expertise to ensure proper planning, execution, coordination, and compliance of projects.

Job Responsibilities:
- Manages one or more specific operational area(s) or functional area(s) or program(s) within Research Park
- Manages projects in at least one functional area in Research Park by contracting with, coordinating, and/or directing outside vendors, staff, partners, and/or users
- Assists in the development for the unit budget and makes recommendations for assigned functional areas
- Serves as a point of contact and unit liaison to internal and external stakeholder groups providing organizational information and representing the interests of the unit
- Ensures that related policies, procedures, and standards are maintained
- Exercises supervisory authority, including hiring, transferring, suspending, promoting, managing conduct and performance, discharging, assigning, rewarding, disciplining, and/or approving hours worked of at least 2.0 full-time equivalent (FTE) employees
