Job Summary:
Directs all administrative, educational, and supervisory tasks of all campus residence life functions. Demonstrates significant interaction and responsibility with all functional areas of the housing operation including staff supervision, administrative duties, student discipline, stimulating the development of educational, social and personal growth programs, group advising, promoting the safety and welfare of all residents, and individual counseling.

Job Responsibilities:
- Directs and evaluates residence life programs for institutional student housing communities to ensure alignment with academic initiatives, unit objectives, and strategic plans
- Exercises supervisory authority, including hiring, transferring, suspending, promoting, managing conduct and performance, discharging, assigning, rewarding, disciplining, and/or approving hours worked of at least 2.0 full-time equivalent (FTE) employees
- Serves as the primary liaison for the unit among internal and external stakeholder groups providing organizational information and representing the interests of the unit in the absence of a Director
- Advises institutional leadership on housing activities
- Develops and oversees the unit budget
- Cultivates and maintains effective working relationships with Facilities, Public Safety and Emergency Management, Counseling and Psychological Services, and other Student Affairs and Campus Life, and College offices
