Job Summary:
Provides expert advice to borrowers concerning but not limited to student loans, resolving collection accounts, judgements, job seeking, financial obstacle resolution, and improving credit score. Portrays an understanding of borrower's goals, assists in setting goals, and provides borrowers with a framework and path to achieve said goals.

Job Responsibilities:
- Counsels, advises, and provides information to borrowers as to their responsibilities and rights under federal, state, and/or institutional student loan rules and regulations
- Understands and implements established collection practices while being mindful of consumer protection rules and ethics
- Determines course of action for repaying, deferring, consolidating, or canceling educational loans
- Assists borrowers in developing individual repayment plans and reviewing their current money management practices including budgeting techniques and suggestions as to how to handle other creditors
- Co-leads a cohesive and highly effective approach to the most target subsection of defaulted borrowers
