Job Summary:
Leads the implementation and execution of scholarship activities to promote the recruitment, retention, and academic success of the students. Provides support and contributes to strategic planning initiatives, and works collaboratively with other scholarship personnel to assist with the coordinating of services, trouble-shooting of problems, and ensuring compliance with financial aid expectations.

Job Responsibilities:
- Oversees scholarship activities to ensure appropriate use of resources to align with and accomplish recruitment and retention goals and meet donor intent, as well as ensure compliance with policies and regulations
- May assist with budgetary oversight for the school/college
- Provides support in the administration of the school/college component of the electronic scholarship system including the application, awarding process, and donor communication
- Assists with the training and support for units and students in use of the scholarship system
- Works with internal stakeholders to identify issues and work towards solutions to problems as they arise in all levels of scholarship activities including student application processes, application review, scholarship awarding, account reconciliation, and donor communication and outreach
- Builds strong relationships with campus partners, academic departments, Human Resources, Business Services, and external stakeholders to ensure effective practices in scholarship activities
- May exercise supervisory authority, including hiring, transferring, suspending, promoting, managing conduct and performance, discharging, assigning, rewarding, disciplining, and/or approving hours worked of at least 2.0 FTE or equivalent employees
