Job Summary:
Directs and provides administrative, vision and strategic leadership of all recreation and wellbeing programs, services, operations and facilities to meet the needs of students, faculty, staff and community members.

Job Responsibilities:
- Establishes strategic direction and leads the administration of a comprehensive recreation and wellbeing division, including all programs, services, operations and facilities
- Serves as the liaison to internal and external stakeholder groups and leaders providing organizational information and representing the interests of Recreation & Wellbeing to advance the health and well-being of the campus community
- Develops and monitors operating policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulations, institutional policies, and unit objectives
- Monitors on-going assessment and continuous improvement of programs, services , operations and facilities by guiding the division's annual goals, ensuring progress towards goals is met, articulating challenges, and reporting on annual outcomes and achievements
- Directs budgetary oversight, including capital budgets and projects, long-range fiscal planning and budget development; identify new and innovative sources of revenue. Provides leadership in cultivation and stewardship of donors.
- Fosters a welcoming and inclusive environment to all students, faculty, staff, community members and guests of Recreation & Wellbeing programs and facilities
- Exercises supervisory authority, including hiring, transferring, suspending, promoting, managing conduct and performance, discharging, assigning, rewarding, disciplining, and/or approving hours worked of at least 2.0 full-time equivalent (FTE) employees
