Job Summary:
Responsible for overseeing the development, implementation and strategic growth of arts programming. Develops and evaluates program curriculum using established standards. Plans and monitors logistics and budget in accordance to the strategic vision.

Job Responsibilities:
- Leads a collaborative approach to artistic planning that combines all elements of programming, including community engagement and student learning, in supports the strategic vision
- Oversees the quality and success of all aspects of program operations, management, relationships, curriculum development, staff and volunteer training, and supervision
- Leads program planning and evaluation, including special opportunities and events, designed to engage a wide range of audiences and participants
- Maintains professional contacts and pursues new artistic ideas in the performing arts field
- Provides clear, consistent communication with colleagues and broader audiences to articulate program content and goals, and to coordinate strategies and implement initiatives related to collaborative efforts, and deeper engagement opportunities
- Manages the operations, and technical production goals and objectives
- Develops and monitors program logistics and budgets
- Exercises supervisory authority, including hiring, transferring, suspending, promoting, managing conduct and performance, discharging, assigning, rewarding, disciplining, and/or approving hours worked of at least 2.0 full-time equivalent (FTE) employees
