  • Job Summary:
    Directs inventory management and maintenance of athletic equipment, assists with the negotiation of equipment vendor contracts, and/or supervises equipment room personnel for a competitive intercollegiate athletics program in support of fielding a competitive team fostering a positive student-athlete experience, and maintaining regulatory compliance.
  • Job Responsibilities:
    • May supervise the day-to-day activities of equipment staff and resolves personnel issues
    • Serves as a subject matter expert and liaison to internal and external stakeholders and vendors negotiates purchasing contracts, providing information and representing the interests of the unit
    • Assists with training and monitoring of equipment fit and use and makes change recommendations to ensure safety and compliance with established rule and regulations
    • Develops, implements, and directs daily operations and policies and procedures to align objectives with strategic initiatives
    • Audits equipment inventory levels and maintenance schedules
  • Education:
    Bachelor's Degree Preferred Minimum
