Job Summary:
Leads consumer research design, conducts research and analysis, and prepares reports of complex projects to influence or develop school/college/division or institutional strategy. Manages the function and effectiveness of research services.

Job Responsibilities:
- Develops and manages stakeholder relationships by promoting research services, expertise, and capabilities, and resolves issues as they arise
- Communicates insights and recommendations to stakeholders through written reports and/or presentations and educates stakeholders on sound research practices
- Executes primary and secondary consumer research methodologies, synthesizes and analyzes data, and reports results to support a variety of functional areas
- Provides oversight on research processes, procedures, and external communications. Leads project intake and scoping
- May exercise supervisory authority, including hiring, transferring, suspending, promoting, managing conduct and performance, discharging, assigning, rewarding, disciplining, and/or approving hours worked of at least 2.0 FTE or equivalent employees
- Assists stakeholders in applying research findings to strategic planning as needed
- May oversee operational budgets, project estimates, vendor management, and project deadlines
