Job Summary:
Performs complex financial, operational, and compliance audits of governance and control processes that may be of institutional risk, under limited direction and in accordance with internal auditing policies and standards. May also lead a team assigned to complex investigations.

Job Responsibilities:
- Plans and conducts audits of internal controls covering a broad range of the institution's operations to assure that the institution's assets are protected and to determine if functional areas are conducting operations in compliance with established guidelines, policies, procedures, and governmental, grant/contract and legal requirements
- Plans, assigns, and reviews work product of other auditors as assigned
- Analyzes records, systems, and processes
- Prepares written documentation of work performed and develops reports
- Interviews and advises staff and management concerning the work and to convey results
- Assists in the preparation and testing of compliance related policies, procedures, and training programs
