  • Job Summary:
    Directs the institution's events program and work unit including, operational plan and policy development, stakeholder relationship cultivation, and supervisory staff management to ensure effective and fiscally sound operations and programming that is in line with the organization's values.
  • Job Responsibilities:
    • Directs strategic planning initiatives and establishes objectives to ensure appropriate use of financial, administrative, and staffing resources and alignment with the strategic plan for an events programming unit
    • Provides vision and leadership to the unit
    • Develops and audits the unit budget
    • Develops and monitors operational plans, programs, and systems to ensure effective operations
    • Exercises supervisory authority, including hiring, transferring, suspending, promoting, managing conduct and performance, discharging, assigning, rewarding, disciplining, and/or approving hours worked of at least 2.0 full-time equivalent (FTE) employees
    • Serves as the unit liaison among internal and external stakeholder groups and promotes unit objectives and activities
