Job Summary:
Assists in executing strategies and operational plans related to staffing, services, and compliance, develops budgets, and maintains relationships with stakeholders to ensure access to disability services at the institution.

Job Responsibilities:
- Assists in the development of strategic planning initiatives and institutional objectives to ensure appropriate use of financial, administrative, and staffing resources and alignment with the strategic plan
- Assists in the development and implementation of disability services goals and operating policies and procedures in alignment with the strategic plan
- Exercises supervisory authority, including hiring, transferring, suspending, promoting, managing conduct and performance, discharging, assigning, rewarding, disciplining, and/or approving hours worked of at least 2.0 full-time equivalent (FTE) employees
- Oversees and executes operational responsibilities, such as individual consultations, trainings, and communications
- Serves as a subject matter expert and unit liaison to internal and external stakeholder groups and individuals providing organizational information and representing the interests of the unit
- Assists in the development, interpretation, and implementation of policy in compliance with federal and state law to ensure equal access to university disability programs and services
- Advocates and collaborates for the full inclusion of persons with disabilities in all aspects of campus life and promotes a campus philosophy that adheres to universal design principles
