Job Summary:
Works directly with university leadership to align financial policies and procedures to institutional initiatives. Directs staff and activities supporting the financial needs of the university including accounting, budgets, analysis, projections, reporting, cash flow management, post-award grant management, and institutional fiscal strategies. Oversees the expenditure of various fund sources to ensure compliance with appropriate regulations.

Job Responsibilities:
- Spearheads all campus-wide financial planning efforts as part of the university leadership team
- Works with university leadership to ensure that plans and strategies are consistent with the university's mission, vision, and strategic direction
- Serves as a partner and advisor to university leadership to ensure revenue, expenditures, and resource allocation are efficiently managed to support ongoing operations, programs, and key objectives
- Acts as key liaison for any internal or external financial audits, filings, or compliance initiatives
- Exercises supervisory authority, including hiring, transferring, suspending, promoting, managing conduct and performance, discharging, assigning, rewarding, disciplining, and/or approving hours worked of at least 2.0 full-time equivalent (FTE) employees
