Job Summary:
Oversees the accounting and financial reporting operations of the university. Ensures reporting compliance with applicable government regulations, professional standards, and organizational policies.

Job Responsibilities:
- Directs strategic planning initiatives and establishes objectives for the unit to ensure compliance with applicable regulations and policies governing financial reporting
- Manages the preparation and filing operations of financial statements to both regulators and the public
- Analyzes, monitors, prepares, processes, and reconciles financial information and transactions
- Ensures effective internal controls are maintained and enforced to maintain compliance by the university in its processes and operations
- Exercises supervisory authority, including hiring, transferring, suspending, promoting, managing conduct and performance, discharging, assigning, rewarding, disciplining, and/or approving hours worked of at least 2.0 full-time equivalent (FTE) employees
- Develops and monitors budget
