Job Summary:
Develops cleaning standards, maintains accurate records, hires, trains and develops custodial staff and/or supervisors, and maintains a comprehensive custodial program to ensure the cleanliness, orderliness, and safety of institutional property.

Job Responsibilities:
- Develops, directs, and monitors the implementation of cleaning standards, emergency planning and response, and staffing strategies across multiple work units
- Exercises supervisory authority, including hiring, transferring, suspending, promoting, managing conduct and performance, discharging, assigning, rewarding, disciplining, and/or approving hours worked of at least 2.0 full-time equivalent (FTE) employees
- Identifies, develops, and facilitates unit staff training opportunities
- Monitors unit record keeping to ensure compliance with established policies and procedures
