Job Summary:
Oversees Transportation Services for the campus community. Provides leadership and direction for all campus transportation issues, manages the resources, staff, and budget of the department, and develops staff, policies, and communications.

Job Responsibilities:
- Leads the strategic planning of the multi-modal (bicycle, pedestrian, bus, automobile, train) transportation functions and fleet management into the overall campus plans and directions
- Meets with University academic and administrative departments, division management, and City, County, and State officials to understand transportation needs and priorities and engages in joint problem solving
- Develops, recommends, and implements transportation initiatives and/or policy and procedural changes to better meet campus needs
- Oversees all transportation planning and fleet management for the campus
- Establishes timely and effective communications with other departments on campus along with City and State agencies to facilitate coordination between transportation systems, roadway impacts, and construction and maintenance activities
- Develops and maintains budgets to meet current and future operational needs of Transportation Services
- Serves as the liaison to City, County, and State agencies to develop a regional solution for transportation
- Exercises supervisory authority, including hiring, transferring, suspending, promoting, managing conduct and performance, discharging, assigning, rewarding, disciplining, and/or approving hours worked of at least 2.0 full-time equivalent (FTE) employees
