Job Summary:
Provides leadership and direction for the institution on parking issues. Develops and implements the resource allocation plan, budget, policy development, and communication to ensure institutional parking operational needs are met.

Job Responsibilities:
- Directs strategic planning initiatives and establishes parking objectives to ensure appropriate use of financial, administrative, and staffing resources in alignment with the strategic plan
- Develops and implements parking policies and procedures to comply with regulations, institutional policies, and institution objectives
- Supervises finance, customer service, maintenance, field service, special event, booth, and communication managerial staff and determines unit personnel needs and the personnel resource allocation plan including hiring, training, supervision, and resolution of personnel issues
- Develops and audits the unit budget to ensure long-term solvency and the ability to meet fiscal commitments to parking improvements
- Serves as the unit liaison to internal and external stakeholder groups on parking issues to understand program needs and priorities and engages in joint problem-solving
- Exercises supervisory authority, including hiring, transferring, suspending, promoting, managing conduct and performance, discharging, assigning, rewarding, disciplining, and/or approving hours worked of at least 2.0 full-time equivalent (FTE) employees
