Job Summary:
Plans, organizes, evaluates, and directs the stores operations to support a variety of facilities operations. Processes non-inventory material needs of the shops to sustain daily operations.

Job Responsibilities:
- Develops, documents, and implements operational policies and procedures, and inventory control best practices for the various stores locations
- Guides staff to manage inventory and to replenish it by effectively using existing contracts and/or obtaining competitive prices
- Directs the maintenance of perpetual inventory and other records for stores operation for items of a varied nature
- Works with shops management to determine stores' inventory. Consults with and advises shop managers and division managers as to changes in inventory levels and purchasing requirements
- Analyzes space requirements, layout considerations, equipment utilizations, material handling procedures, and recommends improvements
- Prepares operational performance reports and budget information
- Ensures accurate performance and integrity of data in the computerized inventory control software and employee training in the use of the software program
- May exercise supervisory authority, including hiring, transferring, suspending, promoting, managing conduct and performance, discharging, assigning, rewarding, disciplining, and/or approving hours worked of at least 2.0 FTE or equivalent employees
