Job Summary:
Develops policies and procedures and administers international employment and immigration programs to provide information to scholars and employing units on the regulations that govern employment, as well as ensuring international employees maintain valid non-immigrant status while in the United States. Ensures institutional compliance with employment eligibility regulations and procedures and also supervises staff.

Job Responsibilities:
- Implements strategic direction and directs daily operations of international services staff, and allocates resources to achieve objectives in alignment with strategic initiatives
- Prepares, submits, and processes complex immigration and employment documentation for current and prospective employees to the appropriate entities
- Develops, implements, and executes policies and procedures to ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and institutional policies
- Serves as subject matter expert and advisor to institutional leadership disseminating best practices and providing updates on international services objectives and initiatives
- Exercises supervisory authority, including hiring, transferring, suspending, promoting, managing conduct and performance, discharging, assigning, rewarding, disciplining, and/or approving hours worked of at least 2.0 full-time equivalent (FTE) employees
