  • Job Summary:
    Provides counseling and education to patients on genetic information, diseases, and testing to support informed patient decision-making.
  • Job Responsibilities:
    • Interviews, evaluates, and provides information to patients on genetics. Identifies risk and recommends solutions or medical treatments to ensure the well-being of patients suffering from genetic diseases and conditions
    • Writes reports and disseminates information to patients and medical providers about testing options and associated risks, benefits, and limitations regarding complex genetic concepts
    • Serves as a subject matter expert to internal and external stakeholders and provides information through various communication mediums, and attends professional events
