Job Summary:
Responsible for the support and quality control for all activities involving pulmonary function testing such as spirometry, impulse oscillometry, exhaled nitric oxide, methacholine challenges, and sputum induction.

Job Responsibilities:
- Performs care and on call service
- Prepares equipment, staff, and patients for laboratory tests
- Conducts diagnostic tests
- Ensures equipment is properly calibrated and maintained according to professional standards
- Keeps detailed records and assesses test data to maintain highest quality of service and performance
- Reads and interprets test results
- Communicates results, feedback, or suggestions; and discusses trends, procedural questions, and concerns
- Serves as liaison between staff and equipment manufacturer repair departments, and provides input and makes recommendations on purchasing and upgrading equipment and software
- May supervise healthcare techs
