Job Summary:
Improves well-being of the campus community by engaging with campus stakeholders and using population-level campus data to prioritize, design, implement, and evaluate strategies to achieve measurable health improvements by creating health-supporting campus systems, policies, and environments. Assists with long term strategic planning and supports and directs the work of others.

Job Responsibilities:
- Assists in the development of strategic planning initiatives and unit objectives to ensure appropriate use of financial, administrative, and staffing resources in alignment with the strategic plan
- Assists in the development and implementation of operating policies and procedures to promote well-being of the campus community in alignment with the strategic plan
- Exercises supervisory authority, including hiring, transferring, suspending, promoting, managing conduct and performance, discharging, assigning, rewarding, disciplining, and/or approving hours worked of at least 2.0 full-time equivalent (FTE) employees
- Gathers and evaluates population-level student health data and engages with stakeholders to discern needs and interests and build capacity for population-level health improvement
- Applies evidence-based theories, frameworks, and assessments according to current health research and practice
- Develops, implements, organizes, and evaluates population-health initiatives based on sound data, theory, and evidence
- Provides consultation, training, and capacity-building resources for campus stakeholders to promote campus as a health-promoting setting with respect to campus policies, learning and working environments, physical spaces, services and support, student development, and/or opportunities for social connectedness
- May develop and audit the unit budget
